We aim to assist you in finding the best possible deals and information when searching for tshirt transfer paper.

Welcome to our website.  Here you will find the best possible deals available on tshirt transfer paper available.   Tshirt transfer paper is a great, economical way to print your custom t-shirts whether it be to promote your business, band, social group or just to express your individuality.

In the last several years there have been many advances in tshirt transfer paper, allowing you to print on dark shirts as well as lighter colored garments.

The two main types of tshirt transfer paper are hot peel and cold peel.  Hot peel transfers have a shorter application time and provide a matte finish when completed.  Cold peel transfer papers take longer to apply and will have a glossy finish when applied.  Cold peel tshirt transfer paper will leave the printed surface a bit tacky.

Tshirt transfer paper may be used with either a heat press or with a home iron.  The application time using a home iron will be approximately 60 or 70 seconds.  To use this method you must make sure that your iron is completely dry and that there is no water in the reservoir.

For the individual with a heat press, the application time will be about 15-30 seconds.  When finished, the paper must be peeled immediately after the heat has been removed from the garment/image.  You must use caution when removing the paper, as it will be extremely hot.

Tshirt transfer paper is available in many different sizes.  The most common sizes available  are 8.5 by 11 inches and 11 by 17 inches due to the fact that you can print your images using your home inkjet printer.

Some possible types of transfer paper include:

Transferjet:  This is for use with inkjet printers on white or light colored shirts.  It is a single step and commercial grade paper.  It is a hot peel transfer, meaning that you need to peel the paper off of the printed garment while it is still hot.  This type of transfer will be soft to the touch and will not peel or crack.

Active Wear:  This type of transfer paper is for use on light colored synthetic garments such as stretchy performance fabrics.

Jet Opaque:  This type of tshirt transfer paper is designed to print images and photos on dark colored t-shirts and sweatshirts.  When using this type of transfer paper, it is important to remember to choose garments with a tight weave.

High & Low Temperature Laser:  This type of transfer paper is for use with laser copiers and printers on light colored garments and items.  Generally, this type of paper will be for use with heat presses only.

As you can see, there are plenty of options available when you are in the market for tshirt transfer paper.  The advances in these types of transfers in the last several years has been amazing.  It has made it possible to print low numbers of t-shirts and garments at an affordable price, which is extremely good news for smaller companies and businesses.
